Professional and personal:
I graduated from Michigan Tech in December of 2007
with a degree in Computer Science. I originally
hail from Muskegon, MI which is where I started
to get into racing. The owner of a local running
start got me hooked on triathlons and just last
year into adventure racing in addition to my casual
running. Last summer I started to attempt to train
more and picked up mountain biking as a way to cross
train since a roommate left me a bike to use. One
race was enough to make me decide to continue MTB
racing and buy a bike. During my final semester
I raced collegiately with C4 where I generally finished
middle of the pack in Class B. I am currently settling
into my new job with GE Aviation and looking into
starting a masters program in Electrical Engineering.
Racing goals:
Start to follow an actual training routine and start
to podium in my age group, increase my overall standings
and increase the distances that I compete in.
