NEWS FLASH - SEPT. 30
The King Copper Motel in Copper Harbor has reserved a block of 15 rooms for the Keweenaw Cup on Oct. 11 for a flat rate of $69. The rooms have 2 double beds and the price is the same regardless of the number of people staying in each room.

According to Sam Raymond, it looks like it may be a fairly busy weekend in Copper Harbor. He recommends that anyone who doesn't yet have a room do so soon.

To make a reservation at the King Copper, call 800-833-2470 or 906-289-4214. You should identify themself as a part of the cyclocross race to receive the flat rate special.

While Saturday's cx race will be held at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, the evening's festivities will take place down in town (at The Pines), within walking distance from the King Copper Motel. Sunday's race will be held in the MTU trails in Houghton.
